About Blessed Generations High School
Blessed Generation is part of a well-established organization registered in Kenya as a Charitable Children’s Institution (CCI) and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with a long-standing mission to provide holistic, quality education and care to vulnerable children. Founded and guided by Ria Fennema and her husband Fester, the organization is supported by a committed team of over 100 qualified Kenyan staff who share a deep passion for transforming lives through education.
With an educational footprint spanning Nyamira (Western Kenya), Malindi (Coastal Kenya), and Ruiru (Central Kenya), Blessed Generation has grown steadily to support and educate over 1,000 children every year. The education programme forms a core pillar of the organization’s work, offering structured learning pathways that nurture academic growth, character development, and long-term self-reliance.
Education with purpose lies at the heart of Blessed Generation’s approach. The schools emphasize values-based learning, focusing on discipline, compassion, responsibility, and resilience. Learners are guided in a supportive environment that recognises their unique backgrounds while empowering them with knowledge, life skills, and confidence to thrive in society.
Holistic curriculum approach
Blessed Generation’s education programme integrates classroom learning with mentorship, guidance, and community engagement. Learners are encouraged to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and a strong moral foundation. Education is viewed not just as academic instruction, but as a tool for breaking cycles of poverty and nurturing future leaders who are socially responsible and community-minded.
Community-centred impact
What sets Blessed Generation apart is its deep integration of education with outreach initiatives and social support programmes. Through its growing network of schools and community projects, the organization ensures that learning remains relevant, inclusive, and rooted in real-world impact. This model offers parents reassurance that their children are educated in an environment that values both academic growth and human dignity.
