About Moi Highschool Kabarak
Moi High School Kabarak (MHSK) is a highly prestigious co-educational boarding school located 20 km from Nakuru City in Kenya’s scenic Rift Valley Province. Established in 1979 by the late President Daniel T. arap Moi, the school was founded with the vision to provide affordable, holistic education to Kenyan children and prepare them well for university and life. MHSK has maintained its commitment to excellence, transforming itself from a privately managed entity into a national institution directly registered with the Ministry of Education in 2002.
Core Values and Guiding Philosophy
MHSK is anchored on strong Christian tenets, aiming to produce an all-round person who is morally, academically, and spiritually sound. Our motto, “”On Earth We Rise,”” reflects our drive for excellence in all undertakings.
Christian Ethos: The school’s vision is to be a Christian School of Choice, with all activities anchored on the fear of the Lord and the values of Commitment, Fairness, and Integrity.
Holistic Development: We focus on producing well-rounded students equipped with book knowledge and survival skills to face psychological and social challenges, fostering leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship among our graduates.
Strong Community: The school shares a compound with Kabarak University and Kabarak Primary, creating a supportive community that emphasizes discipline, respect, and responsibility.
